The Coldness BeneathIt's a cold day, Rainy, then not, Breaching sunny, then not.The Coldness Beneath
The cold, wet of the gras is seeping through my blanket, Searching for the comfort,
I fear soon will be lost to the dampness underground. Repressed and dormat, I hold it back. Down under, It finds cracks, Through which the thin membrane cloth that my blanket is made.
It's in the air I breathe, resting, giving chills to the bones, Reaching in deeper, Invading my core.

My AuntMy Aunt can be cold as ice, Yet shatters to pieces when is tapped. My Aunt
She looks your way,
A vacant stare. Not to you, though seemed, Done wrong, Caused something worthy to reem.
Really she's just at a loss to what's going on. Looking for something to carry on. Busy to not be, As she tries to keep the stillness away, Having to think there's really nothing happening today.
Empty nest, home alone, Stay-at-home mother, is just staying home.
Never liked a quiet day. It didn't help to keep the sadness at bay.
